Photographer of cultural heritage, stories, magic, and connections.

I'm a Filipina photographer based in NYC and Long Island. Through art and creativity, I highlight the unique personality of each person I take a photo of. I specialize in cultural heritage photos, including solo portraits, family, engagements, and weddings.

Photos often tell a story, and through my work I try to share them! From the streets of New York City, to the cultural history of those wearing their traditional clothing. From the smiles on children's faces, to the love in the eyes of a couple getting married. These photos tell their stories and history.

As a photographer who specializes in cultural heritage photos, what exactly does this mean? Through my lens, I capture moments in time, of honoring one's culture and ancestors. As a proud Pinay woman of Akeanon and Mindoreño Tagalog descent, I combine my years of research and knowledge on the pre-colonial history, culture, beliefs, folklore, mythologies, and traditions of the Philippines with my love of photography to create portraits that represent one's Filipino and ethnographic-linguistic identity.

Whether it's through mother and daughter portraits, symbolizing the maternal lineage passed down from every Filipina woman in one's family, to lovers sharing their love for each other.

As an artist and creative, honoring these ancestral traditions, knowledge, and cultural practices through my Filipino cultural heritage photoshoots, help inspire the younger generation to reconnect with their roots and to pay homage to their ancestors. It's a story of resilience, reclaiming these traditions, capturing these moments, and passing them on to future generations.
